Visitor tablet
Leave a tablet on the stand: visitors type their own details, then the screen resets for the next one
Some visitors have time and nobody to talk to: the counter is busy, the salesperson is with someone else. The visitor tablet turns that waiting time into a lead. The tablet shows your form and your QR code; the visitor types their details, or scans the code to carry on with their own phone, and the screen clears for the next person. Nothing to install: it is a page of LeadShake, opened once on the tablet and locked with an exit code.
- Resets
- After each contact, or 60 s idle
- Without network
- Keeps every entry, sends later
- Leaving the screen
- 4-digit exit code
01
What the visitor sees
Your name or your company, the fields you chose, your questions for visitors, and a large QR code. The visitor either fills the form on the tablet or scans the code to open the same page on their phone, which suits anyone who would rather not type on a shared screen. Questions you reserved for your team are never shown there.
02
It resets itself
After the thank-you screen the form empties, and after sixty seconds without a touch it goes back to the start. Nobody sees the previous visitor’s details, and the tablet never needs someone to reset it between two conversations.
03
Locked to the stand
The tablet runs under your account, so leaving the page asks for the four-digit exit code chosen when you started it. A visitor cannot wander into your dashboard, and a new browser session asks for the code again.
04
Slow Wi-Fi is not the visitor’s problem
When the hall network drops, each entry is kept on the tablet and sent as soon as the connection returns, with no duplicate. When a send hangs, the visitor still gets their thank-you after four seconds and the entry waits its turn. Open the page once with a connection before the event, as you would for trade show mode.
05
The same emails as your card
A contact captured on the tablet receives the same connection email as one who tapped your card, and the same follow-up a few days later. The lead is attributed to you, with the tablet recorded as its source, so you can tell afterwards which contacts came from the counter.
06
Tablet, card and phone, all three at once
The tablet does not replace your card or trade show mode. Visitors with their own phone tap the card; the ones in a hurry are captured by a salesperson; the ones waiting fill the tablet. All three land in the register of the same trade fair campaign. The glossary entry on kiosk mode covers the vocabulary.
Questions
For the visitors who stop at your stand, yes: they type their details themselves and answer your questions, which a scanner cannot ask. It does not read the badges of people walking past, and it needs a tablet you already own. A rented scanner reads what the organiser encoded, usually a name and a company, for a fee per event.
